Police reporting another possible beef thief after $400,000 disappearance

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Grand Island Law enforcement are reporting one more feasible beef theft, just days just after practically $400,000 really worth of meat disappeared.

This newest case does not arrive close to topping that investigation but is relating to nonetheless.

A gentleman living north of Fonner Park stories that somebody pried open the doorway of his detached garage.

He claimed a gas can was stolen from inside, alongside with a package deal of individually wrapped hamburgers.

Law enforcement inform us he later identified all those items, alongside with a neighbor’s 1-pound tube of ground beef, in a close by pickup truck.

This all occurred early Wednesday morning on South Cherry Road.

So much, police have not identified any suspects.
