Regional grocery chain Huge Foods is opening a new shop in Silver Spring, Md., on Friday, replacing an more mature location about 9 miles away, the retailer declared Tuesday.

The new retail outlet is almost 65,000-square ft and has an expanded gourmand cheese division, contemporary-built sushi and pizza, and a Starbucks café.
