Colorado, Arizona local governments partner on carbon removal technology

While Boulder County and Flagstaff in the beginning introduced their intent to kind the Four Corners Carbon Removing Coalition very last November, the two jurisdictions announced this week that they would start out requesting proposals from intrigued entities in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah this summer.

The preliminary request will be searching for proposals “that recognize sturdy, verifiable carbon removal” remedies that integrate the carbon they eliminate from greenhouse gas emissions into area concrete output, according to the partners.
